We want to continue to serve the recovery community by sharing our experience, strength, and hope with the clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are Do&#8217;s and Don&#8217;ts to be used as a guideline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do dress appropriately and conservatively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do use appropriate language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do have a meeting guide, readings, and books\/pamphlets available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do comply with any request&#8217;s treatment facilties have stated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do sign in and sign a HIPPA statement when requested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do agree to sponsor clients if willing to do so.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do share your path to sobriety. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DON&#8217;T bring a cell phone into the meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON&#8217;T bring food, candy or anything edible into the meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON&#8217;T reveal to anyone who you saw at the treatment meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON&#8217;T share &#8220;drunk-a-logs&#8221; or horror stories with clients  (Triggers)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON&#8217;T trash treatment center programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON&#8217;T give advice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DON&#8217;T smoke or vape on treatment campuses. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are going to be absent, please have a backup ready or call the Treatment Chair or Alternate Treatment Chair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thankyou for your service, we couldn&#8217;t do this without you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Downloadable version <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-a2b47066-3e94-44d5-b7f9-0bc0b6db784f\" href=\"https:\/\/aadistrict17fl.org\/20260204\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Treatment-Rules.pdf\">Treatment-Rules<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/aadistrict17fl.org\/20260204\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Treatment-Rules.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-a2b47066-3e94-44d5-b7f9-0bc0b6db784f\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for volunteering to chair a meeting or speak at a treatment center or detox facility.
